Maison Martin Margiela will next month launch a trio of female fragrances inspired by its Replica fashion line that aims to capture “familiar scents and moments of varying locations and periods.”The house’s seasonal capsule collection, Replica, is based on reproducing iconic garments and accessories from specific cultures and time periods. In a similar fashion, the upcoming fragrance line aims to evoke memorable scents, with Beach Walk inspired by the Corsican beach of Calvi in 1972, Funfair inducing memories of a Santa Monica carnival in 1994 and Flower Market carrying the scent of fresh cut flowers at a Parisian flower market in 2011.Via.Luxuo
